We're going to go over the short-term and long-term fixes for social anxiety
Short Term Solution:
If you have an event, job interview, date, etc. you need to attend and you don't have months to change your brain, this is the best way to leverage chemistry to become confident and charismatic.
Before we do that, here's a simple breakdown of what happens while experiencing social anxiety:
1. You find yourself in a social situation
2. Your brain has associated social situations with danger
3. This association causes a cascade of signals to fire from the amygdala to the prefrontal cortex to activate "fight or flight" mode
4. Now that your body essentially thinks you're being attacked by a lion, your cortisol, adrenaline, noradrenaline and glutamate rapidly rise
This fight-or-flight state makes it impossible to be present in the conversation. You may start talking faster, with a higher pitch, visibly shake, and overall come across as awkward, creating another negative social experience and further strengthening your brain's negative associations.
Here's how you break the cycle, and acutely conjure a calm, confident, and euphoric state of consciousness:
1) Increase GABA
2) Increase Serotonin
3) Increase Dopamine
4) Decrease cortisol
5) Decrease excitatory signaling
We're going to accomplish that with the following 7 compounds:
1
L-Theanine
L-Theanine, a potent amino acid housed in Camelia Sinensis (call it green tea if you aren't into herbalism), offers a distinct tranquility.
It plays with the glutamate system, tweaking monoamine levels, boosting dopamine and serotonin, and potentiating the effects of GABA, the inhibitory neurotransmitter.
Theanine puts you at ease without sedating and synergizes seamlessly with other GABAergics and stimulants.
2
KSM-66
Ashwagandha, a native flora of India, boasts a lineage that spans over 6000 yrs in ancient Indian medicine.
A multifaceted elixir, it calms the tempest within while also slashing neuro-inflammation and blunting cortisol levels by an average of 33%
KSM-66 is an extract that maximizes its mood-altering properties and operates mainly through GABA/Glycine activation and serotonergic modulation.
3
Emoxypine
Emoxypine, aka Mexidol, is a compound first created by Russia's Research Institute of Pharmacology.
A cousin of pyridoxine or Vitamin B6, this compound boosts cerebral circulation, crushes anxiety, and shields your neurons from excitatory damage.
Its knack for amplifying GABA sensitivity, along with its anti-inflammatory properties, is credited for its tranquilizing firepower. Total game changer.
4
Agmatine Sulfate
Agmatine is a member of the Biogenic Amines group of compounds and is naturally produced in the body from the Amino Acid Arginine.
It shows promise in alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as in pain management and enhancing cognitive health. Its beneficial effects on cognitive health are due to its neuroprotective capabilities, which include antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic activities.
Studies have also indicated that Agmatine can help curb cravings for various substances such as alcohol, opioids, and amphetamines.
Furthermore, it has been found to quickly alleviate depressive symptoms through a mechanism similar to that employed in ketamine therapy.
5
Lemon Balm Extract
Lemon Balm, AKA Melissa Officinalis, is a perennial herb in the mint family, often consumed as a tea. It is known for its calming effects and its ability to elevate mood.
These benefits are believed to arise from Lemon Balm's phytochemicals, which inhibit the breakdown of the neurotransmitter GABA by blocking the action of the enzyme GABA-Transaminase.
While other compounds previously mentioned increase your brain's sensitivity to GABA, this increases GABA.
6
Oroxylum Indicum (Sabroxy)
Sabroxy is a specialized, patented extract formulated to contain at least 10% oroxylin A, 15% baicalin, and 6% chrysin. The primary active ingredient in this extract is oroxylin A, which functions as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor.
By blocking the reuptake of dopamine back into the presynaptic neuron, oroxylin A elevates the extracellular concentrations of dopamine, thereby enhancing dopaminergic neurotransmission.
While cocaine and methylphenidate (also known as Ritalin) have a similar mechanism of action, their effects are considerably stronger.
Additionally, Sabroxy does NOT increase levels of adrenaline / noradrenaline like Ritlain / Cocaine, which contributes to it's calm and clean stimulation and pro-social mood boosting effects.
Baicalin, another component of Sabroxy, is a flavonoid also found in Chinese and American skullcap plants. It boosts gabaergic activity by acting as a positive allosteric modulator, thereby amplifying the receptor's responsiveness to naturally occurring GABA.
7
Eria Jarensis Extract
Eria Jarensis is a relatively obscure plant containing a phenethylamine compound called NN-Dimethylphenethylamine (N,N-DMPEA).
This compound functions as a ligand at the TAAR1 receptor, in a manner similar to amphetamines, and also acts as an agonist at the 5-HT1A receptor. Additionally, N,N-DMPEA has been found to inhibit the action of the enzyme MAO-B, which is involved in the metabolic breakdown of dopamine.
Agonists of the 5-HT1A receptor, like N,N-DMPEA, may dampen the activity of serotonergic neurons that typically inhibit dopaminergic neurons in the nigrostriatal pathway.
This promotes a euphoric, mood-boosting, and pro-social state that makes it easier and more enjoyable to be present in social interaction. The stimulating properties that may contribute to nervousness / jitters are typically completely offset when combined with the other compounds in the stack
Combining it All
You could go ahead and get all these ingredients separately, with some empty capsules and a milligram scale.
That would of course be an investment upwards of $300, not to mention the time involved.
Here's where Ramp Health's B4 comes in clutch.
This stack was formulated at the most efficacious dosages in a drinkable format.
The results? A portable, tasty, and effective weapon for fighting social anxiety.
I take B4 an hour before a speaking event to make sure I'm my calmest, smoothest version of myself.
Sometimes I'll even stack with an extra 200-400mg of L-Theanine or Magnolia Bark for an extra anxiolytic kick.
Keep in mind that B4 works best when used, 1-3 times per week.
This won't work for everyone, but >99% of reviews I've gotten from this stack have been very positive.
As always, make sure to get cleared by your doctor before trying any new supplements.

How to Overcome Social Anxiety Longterm
Permanently overcoming social anxiety requires you to expose yourself to social situations and create new positive associations to social stimuli within the brain.
This requires increasing neuroplasticity, which is your brain's ability to adapt and reorganize its neural pathways.
BDND (Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor) is a key component in achieving increased neuroplasticity.

5/5 Stars
“Euphoric confidence”
It is better than I expected. Looking to replace alcohol with this and I can firmly say it meets that goat and then some. I can look any girl in the eye. Sounds easy, it’s not. Brought a girl home the second night I tried it. Lifetime customer of ramp health products

“Subtle and Relaxed”
Took this product before a work event where I'd have to be more social than usual. I don't drink so I was attracted to the idea of taking something that mimics the relaxation of drinking without having to actually imbibe.
I was pleasantly surprised at the feeling of ease and relaxation that I got. It also doesn't hit you over the head like alcohol does. It's a nice subtle feeling of wellbeing and chill-ness that few nootropics (even full supplement stacks i've tried) provide.
Selfish as it is, I'd recommend this for people in addiction recovery, as it's gotten me a lot of results that I would have expected from drugs or alcohol previously, but without any of the negative side effects.

“ELITE Nootropic”
Makes a massive difference. Enhanced both my focus and confidence, while remaining calm. Looking forward to continuing to trial in different social settings.
